Okay,

I got the 120Alpha2 and it works perfectly.

Thank you neomonkeus.

@Matthiaswagg:

I extracted to a new folder renamed to NifSkope120A2 and it works fine from there.

Alright I'll try that.

Okay. So I installed it to a folder named NifSkope120A2 in a folder on my desktop, opened a .nif with it, went to Render>Settings, tried Auto Detect Game Path and... No supported games were detected?

So I just manually set it to my Skyrim/Data path and it works now.

Where and how did you install Skyrim

With Steam, in my ProgramFiles(x86) folder.

EDIT: The autodetect works fine on a different computer. Or at least, it says it detects the game, but the textures never show up.

Ok solved it.

For Path: Skyrim/Data

For Archive: The BSA files regarding to the texture mod your are using. For example, displaying Armor Mod A and you need to set up the archive path for Armor Mod A.bsa as well.

Despite how simple this sounds, it took me a week to realize it.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\Data\textures

Thats the texture path I have it set to, it worked before just withen hours of my posting here.

Ok I've solved it. The problem probably wouldn't have happened if I wasn't ill and sleep deprived.

Here's what happened

The pathing for textures in Nifskope looks like this ----textures\actors\character\female\FemaleBody_1.dds---

Since "Auto-Detect" doesn't work yet for Skyrim and I reinstalled and uninstalled so many copies of Nifskope, I had it working at one point.

I set the RENDER->Settings

Texture Path to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\Data\Texture----Looks Right when you think about it Right?

With that path you really wind up with the program looking for this

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\Data\textures\textures\actors\character\female\FemaleBody_1.dds

See something wrong up there???

It thinks there's a TEXTURES FOLDER IN THE TEXTURES FOLDER

This line is all you need for it to find textures in your game folder

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\Data

THANK YOU!! I WAS GOING EVERYWHERE INSIDE THE TEXTURES AND EVEN MESHES FOLDER (since I had some textures there as well) THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HELPING ME ON THIS!
