jawn
First: After reading some of the Stickies, I may have the install order of my Steam games in the wrong folder? I read that it's suggested that I should install to "Program Files/or x86 folder. New PC build so it's not a biggie, yet, as I only have like 4 games installed. I can easily redo-and download and install the games correctly. I'd just like to find out first so I can avoid any big issues later. Also, can someone tell me the path to install Steam to? I have it installed to my "S" drive, (S for storage) and in a separate game folder than "Program Files" (x86). Is this no longer relevant? Btw, Vortex is installed to my "C" drive, default install, and it shows all my present games from Steam installed except My Origin game Koar, which isn't showing up in Vortex for some reason. It searches my C drive only it's not coming up. When I installed Origin it didn't give me an option to install to another drive so it installed on my "C" drive. Could this be the reason it's not showing in Vortex or is Origin games not supported by it. only Steam games?
rmm200
Don't install any games in Program Files. Just don't. I personally would not let Vortex stick mods in Appdata either.Steam is an application. Program Files is fine for applications. You can tell Origin, Steam, Epic or any of the others where to install games. Point them to your game disk.
