Don't usually post on these forums but I must say that you have done a brilliant job with this re-imagining of the Elder Scrolls Universe. I'll try to find some resources in a little while.

King Henry II Ceremonial Armor

Splinted? Armor

Plate Armor

Plate Armor

French Bascinet

Plate Armor

Sugarloaf Helmet

Cuir Bouilli Armor

Ottoman Armors

For some reason I really like the straps on the armor in this

Brigandine

X-XVa Oakeshott Sword Shapes

XVI-XVIIIb Oakeshott Sword Shapes

XIX-XXII Oakeshott Sword Shapes

Hope something here is helpful.

Great mod here. I'm really looking forward to this. Are there any plans to replace the redguard outfit?

It would be awesome if you could make it ottoman or arabic armor from 1300's/ crusader periods.

This is my favourite ever mod for Skyrim, it didn't make sense to me that the armours of Oblivion wouldn't have been replaced by more complex techniques so many years down the line. They look amazing and will add so much immersion to an already stunning game.

Sincerely, thank you so much. I simply cannot wait for release.

Actus...

Not sure if you still need references, but I can give you a hint...

The biggest medieval armors museum is the Musée de l'Armée in France.

Seach at google: Musée de l'Armée armor

Click on Images kind on top menu.

Have fun :)

WOW, well first time i have seen this thread but i am on the edge of my seat. Stunning! I wish you all the best for this massive undertaking, as i myself have often enough longed for some realism in the armor of skyrim. Perhaps it is due to the beautiful world created in skyrim that i long for more real world armors, (which hasn't really bothered me in previous ES games).

Anyway, just adding my support and cheers for the work you have done so far. This will be the armor mod to end all armor mods for me i'm sure.

Cheers

This .... I ... what... I-I'm simply speechless... If I had a cookie, I'd share it with You ... And I don't share my cookies with ANYONE, so that says something ...

The alik'r would look better with a lighter armour/clothes that incorporates patterned leather or something like the first pic you linked.

Also im wondering if you have any plans to incorporate any fur into your models other than cloaks, like the style the vannilla sets seem to follow? :)
