you can't do custom armour with nifskope

Don't talk *censored*, most of them on Nexus are created in nifskop just put together.

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/19733/?tab=3&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fmodimages%2F%3Fuser%3D0%26id%3D19733

This one for example.

You wouldn't need 3d for any of them.

This is a tutorial for Oblivion but I'm pretty Nifskope didn't change when Skyrim was released.

Otherwise good, but doesn't work well with skyrim as almost all armors are made from one "piece".

Many armors from immersive armors mod are made by slamming stuff together in nifskope, alpha mapping and retexturing, but it's not fully glitch-free way. (I used it as well on my Vampire Hunter armor set thingy)

In Oblivion there was more armor pieces, Arms/hands, footwear, leggings, torso and helmet, but the mesh itself was made from more than one piece. (Torso consisted of pauldrons and chest part, possibly more)

Thus it was possible to do what the guide there said.

HAHA I thought you meant creating verticles etc ...

Wow you can't know how devil it is to puting meshes together as Hottroopers do, you always with written coord, it means you have to find them yourself, you can move them with your mouse for example, it's really easy when you work with static mesh ( buildings, houses ). if you just wanna beggin you, you should work with a 3D design sofware for example ( blender or 3DS)

3DS is much easier that Blender because you can't make directly your armour with, Blender can't make Skyrim nif, this is why you always have to add or remove something before import and after export.

But I think, no one here know how to use Nifskope for this king of thing, but if I remmenber, the command you are looking for ( like scale, position, rotation ) are on the NiTriShapeData subsection.
