ENGOZ
Is that crossbow usable in game? Rather than just being a prop that is? Everything seems to be coming along well!
CyrusAmell
Nice armor set TMK, but the crossbow is the cherry on top. As Engoz asked, Is it an actual weapon or a prop?
Boaresa
Hey guys i worked on something similar but that didn't worked out, so i have textures left you could be maybe interested about. http://i.imagebanana.com/img/fwdgxjia/thumb/bruma.png I wanted to set some Bruma Imperials in the south of skyrim and fighting random battles with stomcloaks similiar to Warzone. But just with alpha maps blacking out that didn't worked so well as i planed. Or maybee i could help you with stuff and you help me a bit?
Falkner1992
All of this looks very nice. I don't usually download custom item mods, but this might be the second I make an exception (the first was Immersive Armors).
TheMedievalsKnights
@Boaresa, your padded texture seems interesting :The texture's side of this armour are not unwrapped correctly, so when you do such texture ( padded, leather plate or something that repeats like a pattern ) the front face does not stick to the back face but overlap it where they met. But your faces (as I can see on your picture) seems to meet correctly . But just a question, why they are big transparent holes ?Could you send me it ? @Everyone else :Yes the crossbow will be playable when I will be able to do it  Edited May 12, 2013 by TheMedievalsKnights
Boaresa
@TheMedievalsKnights What do you mean "front face" and "back face"? It looks this way because of the alpha map blackouts. I combined the Witcher-2 "Soldier" Medium with the Heavy armor so that i have this jacket(?) and the longer skirt in once. The padded texture is just the same as from Oblivion, its just a place holder untill i found something better or worked out a new one. Normaly these transparent holes shouldn't happen and this for example works:http://i.imagebanana.com/img/26gu3f7v/thumb/bruma.pngRather i would wait untill this luddemann would release the stuff he created but it looks like that doesn't happen any time soon and is possibly already dead.http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/881853-luddemann-blenderblog/page-5 Edit: God i hate this editor. Messe up every code. Edited May 12, 2013 by Boaresa
TheMedievalsKnights
You see how the body texture is unwrapped ?You have the front face ( where the original crest is ) and the back face. Now look at there right and left edges, if it was unwrapped corectly, they would correspond to the oposite side ( like when you do a cube pattern in mathematic :) )But for this armour, this is not the case and the egdes didn't correspond to those of the other side like they were supposed to be:) And if you used the texture from oblivion, I hope the nexus moderators will allow you tu use them, but maybe they don't need to know this ;)
Boaresa
Is still don't know what you wanna tell me but these transparent spots are there because i painted these parts of the DDS texture black on the alpha layout, not because anything is wrong unwrapped. And if you used the texture from oblivion, I hope the nexus moderators will allow you tu use them, but maybe they don't need to know thisThese textures are overdone two times. Besides this, there never was and never will be any whingeing about that. Edited May 12, 2013 by Boaresa
TheMedievalsKnights
I'm not trying to explain why there is transparent hole, I'm just telling you that your retexturing work is good
Boaresa
So then are you interested in this kind of extension or do you plan to limit it to the skyrim fractions?
