SkoomaBoy
I just started playing chivalry, the armours are very cool! Thats a greadt idea skoomaboy  [OFFTOPIC] Yes it's such a great game! If you happen to play it and are looking for a mate, you can add me on Steam: SirBunnyLikesCarotsAlot (any of you can). I am Rank 40 on the game so I can teach you a thing or two if you are wondering. I'll convert some other Chivalry assets in the following weeks, I thought about the Veteran Helmets and especially the Mason Vanguard one which has horns and a "Skyrim" feel to it while keeping the Medieval touch. I am currently trying to get some assets from War of the Roses and Assassin's Creed (These two games are a pain in the ass when it comes to extracting content, so it might take some time.)Hate to be a spoilsport, but the majority of resourses in this project (as far as i know) are from the WItcher 2, whose assets are free to use by anyone,Is that the case with the games you mentioned? The more assets the better, sure. I just don't want to see this project closed down, or this thread closed because of copyright issues.Again, hate to be the boogeyman...I just suggest a bit of caution.Indeed, that's why I won't make anything public until things are clear. TheMedievalsKnights
@Nightasy :Of course I did, I'm even registered on the site, maybe the solution is on the Weight Painting Tips thread. Thanks for your reply sir, P.S.:Is it because the bone affect limit must be set to 4 as I see on the Nightasy's thread ? grandmabutch
@Luddemann That looks real good man! One suggestion is that maybe the gauntlets are a bit too intricate and maybe a more plain gauntlet would seem more reasonable. Really good work though

It looks like just a plain gauntlet with a flared cuff.
grandmabutch
Intricate wasn't the right word. I mean it looks more expensive (not something a companion would be able to afford). Aren't gauntlets like that much harder to make because the finger joints are so fine. I just thought one of those mitten gauntlets would seem less expensive and more reasonable for a mercenary to have. This is what I mean http://www.artic.edu/aic/collections/citi/images/standard/WebLarge/WebImg_000116/64298_1169843.jpg but even less glorified than that. Waffenbaum
Yes, I know. I need some more wolf stuff. How about a variant with a segmented metal breastplate? (just for chest protection, not necessarily a backplate as well)The one you have there could be light armor, add a chestplate and you've got heavy version. And that could have some wolf-related imagery engraved on it. You could attach some plated tassets to further protect the thighs as well, the witcher 2 heavy armor imports have them. http://www.ageofarmour.com/instock/globbreastplate3.jpghttp://www.ageofarmour.com/instock/globbreastplate4.jpghttp://www.ageofarmour.com/instock/globbreastplate1.jpg

I know what grandmabutch means, the boots and gauntlets look more knightly than mercenary.. My current character wore the Dark Coat of Plates armour, but I swapped the boots and gauntlets for the Heavy Leather ones found in the Game of Thrones armour mod here's a screenie showing the set-up http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=149640353 I felt that it looked a bit more multi-purpose
