Name won't stay changed with ShowRaceMenu.

Hello, all! I'm having an issue with ShowRaceMenu.

If I use it to change my name and only my name, it will save the name for as long as I'm playing, The save I make before quitting is also named the name I gave my character. But, if I load the save, the name will change back to the previous name. I have a mod that allows the player to "possess" other NPCs, turning them into the Dragonborn. I used it on a modded female Solitude guard, whose name changes back to "Solitude Guard" upon loading the save. My computer is easily able to handle all the mods I have, that definitely isn't the issue. If I run LOOT, it doesn't give me any errors, so there seems to be no issue there. I'm using the most recent version of Skyrim, have all DLCs, the most recent version of Vortex, and the most recent version of SKSE. My game is located in the default location (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim).

How is your game even working without the ASIS.ESP?

Asis-Dependency needs an ASIS.ESP to work properly.

You have to run ASIS.BAT in order to generate it, otherwise you're just wasting a Mod Slot, because it does NOTHING by itself.

Also, you really need a Bashed Patch.

I can definitely do those things, but my main concern is the "renaming after I already renamed my character" thing. Would creating a Bashed Patch potentially help with that?

Well a bashed patch wouldn't hurt.

A bashed patch will merge your leveled lists so that "things in mods" will show up in your game, such as new weapons, bandits etc

At 252 mods, you SHOULD be using a bashed patch
