Sandatharius Posted September 15, 2019 Share Posted September 15, 2019 (edited) Does anyone know what this chest with the fire aura is behind the locked door in Nchuand-Zel Dwemer Ruin? It's the Dwarven ruin inside Markarth. The chest is behind a locked door that requires a key. Is there a quest attached to this, or is it possible to find the key within Nchuand-Zel? The only environmental mod I have is "Realistic Water 2". I've encountered this spot on numerous play throughs in the past, including Skyrim SE Vanilla, before I even got into modding at all. I've been thinking that there may not actually be a key, as such. Lots of times doors that say "Requires a key" can be opened remotely by a button or lever somewhere else. Sidenote: A dungeon on the map saying "cleared" is NOT, I assure you! :smile: I used console command to go through the gate and get a better look at what was inside. Here's the map location: Hmmm.
