greyday01
I would like to add an enclosed courtyart to an interior cell but don't want to mess with a worldspace. I know I can add sky to the cell but is it possible to add things like rain and or fog if the area outside is like that?
hereami
Specify a region for "Sky/Weather from Region" (Cell->Lighting tab in CK). Fog can be set up independently, i guess. Edited September 16, 2019 by hereami
maxarturo
" is it possible to add things like rain and or fog if the area outside is like that? " There is no CK support for interior cells weather system the way exterior cells works ( worldspaces ), basically there is no weather system at all for interior cells. It can be done, but requires more than good knowledge of Papyrus and CK to achieve it. If you are in for some serious headaches, then dig in... ToppDog
Is this a building with doors that open to a courtyard? If so, then it might be better to actually make the courtyard in the exterior cell where the building sits. If you are trying to have a no-load situation from the interior cell to the courtyard, then you can follow the advice above, or create your building so you don't have to load to an interior to begin with. I have a similar issue I am dealing with that brought me here - I'm trying to figure out how to block all weather effects & sounds from a section of exterior space so it seems like an interior one. maxarturo
ToppDog You need to use Occlusion, but Occlusion won't stop sound and camera attach FXs, it will stop exterior weather system.
