Nexus: Google translation of pages

Hello;
I come here to find a solution to a problem that is seriously starting to annoy me.

I speak very little English; and I read it with difficulty.

So when I look for new mods for my game; to understand the requirements; installation or potential problems; I'm using Google translator for Firefox (I know it's far from perfect but it's still very understandable)

 

The problem is that any adult content (or pseudo-adult in most cases) prevents me from translating the page. Simple basic mods like Fallout4 / Caliente's Beautiful Bodies can not be translated; which is great practice with a description long like my arm.I have a restraining page (see below) that appears

 

This page requires me to log in to access adult content but as it is a translation page; of course ; I can not connect :wallbash:

 

Is there a way around this problem?
Because it's really boring (not to say another word)

If you use Google Chrome as your browser then there is an option in the right click menu which is "Translate to English". I assume if I specify another language in my settings or within Windows then it will change that language accordingly. For example, if I go to a French adult mod, right click any of the text on the page and click "Translate to English" it works for me.

 

So your best bet might be to try using Google Chrome as your browser, at least when browsing Nexus Mods.

That's my problem; I only use Firefox for over 15 years; and on every new PC; I automatically eliminate IE; Chrome; etc. (These browsers are definitely banned from my machines)

This adult filter filter is useless; whoever wants to go there; go; no matter how old you are, you have to be realistic. An 18+ enter / 18- exit warning would be just as ineffective, but at least it would not prevent translation

edit: Or change the criteria of what is adult or not; Seriously; using the example of CBBE; it's one of the most used mods and it's untranslatable because it's considered adult

We are not going to be removing the age gating we currently have with the preferences, so you will need to find a plugin for Fire Fox, or an alternative browser, if you would like a solution to your problem.

In the Netherlands we use to say (probably in other countries to); "standing still is moving backwards" . Meaning of course when you don't want to change (in your case keeping your not well working browser) you wil left behind. Narrow thinking because you do it already for 15 years the same is not going to help you. The world moves on. Oh, and Edge works perfect and fast with a easy to install translate extension.

Cela signifie bien sûr que si vous ne voulez pas changer (dans votre cas, en gardant votre navigateur qui ne fonctionne pas bien), vous serez laissé pour compte. Nothing wrong with using Firefox. Just log into Nexus. What's the problem? If you're not an adult...well, that's life. I couldn't go buy alcohol as a minor, nor vote, nor legally drive a car (parents wouldn't let me get a license until I was almost 18), nor buy a Playboy magazine (which at the time was "racey" by the day's standards). So if you *are a minor, give it a few years, you'll grow up, be paying bills, taxes, have medical expenses etc, and you'll be an adult. The you can freely access adult materials without any concern (long as you do it from home and not work)

 

Seriously, why aren't you logging into Nexus? (PS> CBBE IS adult, since it is nude content, regardless of its popularity)

 

As for other browsers...well that's your choice. I despise Google from a corporate and socio-political viewpoint, but I'll freely admit I use their browser (Actually, I use ALL the browsers to support my work as a webdev, since my output has to work on all of them, but Chrome is my goto)
