Premium made my download speed from 1.1MB/s to 150KB/s

Hello. I'm searching for SSE mods and now I need your help.

It's a really great site and community so I made my decision for premium account, and this is the worst decision I made with skyrim.

 

I live in South Korea and ISP usually don't make a problem with my internet. They even provide over 50MB/s download speed with other programs and sites.

 

I truly understand with 1.1MB/s download cap. And I happy with downloading 1GB file about an hour(weeks ago). But I can't understand how premium server(CDN, AS, EU, NA, every single ones) makes my download speed to 150KB/s.

 

It's not a joke. I'm now have experienced under 100KB/s when I write this post.

 

What can I do?

If this is the server problem, can I use regular non premium server with this account, or I rather make another and request refund of this "premium"?

EDIT : Some of grammar I noticed (English is not my native language)

 

what I did

 

- restart a computer

- refuse to download with MO2 (now I'm using chrome)

- try a ping test

- clear cache of MO2 and Chrome

There's absolutely no reason why Premium Membership would affect this speed as there are no caps on Premium downloads.

 

Are you getting the same speed on every download server location? What happens if you try and download from a server which isn't "Singapore", do you still get the same low speed?

 

If so, there's one way you can test if it's your Premium Membership or not - and that's to make another account and test downloading on that account, without Premium.

 

Once you've run your tests, please let us know the name of the account when you're done so we can delete it - as users are only allowed one account.

Hello, thank you for respond.

 

I did try all of the server. And the result are same.

Up to 20MB/s at first 5 seconds, and drop to under 100KB/s in 5 seconds.

My temp account is PRTest, and please, do not e-mail ban or IP ban or something else just in case.

Good evening from Korea.

 

I did what you asked and here's the result

It was 1GB file

 

Prague : 4.5MB/s avg

Amsterdam : 4.5~5MB/s

LA : 13MB/s avg

Chicago : 5~10MB/s

Miami : 4~6MB/s

Singapore : under 300KB/s

 

And then I tried to download texture file i had problem with, using LA server.

Not 13MB/s, but keep sustain 7MB/s.

 

I really don't understand what just happened yesterday. But temporary It works now.

Maybe It was not the right time for use this site. Maybe I tried so many request at once for the tests. Or maybe just Singapore don't like me.
