Fallout 4 nuclear winter 2287

Hey guys, this is the last place I can think of asking for help with this, I've been trying to set up a "nuclear winter" type playthrough on survival with the mode nuclear winter 2287
I always thought it would be cool to play through the game in a harsh winter survival setting. But for the love of god, I can't get any of it to work correctly, I have all the required stuff needed for 2287 including the changes in the ini file. I added the winter overhaul mod instead of the four seasons. I included the weather mod recommended on the mod page as well, but everytime I load it up, the buildings are a blotched white snow cover and some of the plants are snowy looking but thats it, the landscape itself looks like regular fallout, and I can tell the mod is working because the temp gauge says its hot. I tried reinstalling the mods, and still the same effect.

Has anyone tried this mod out and got it to sorta match juiceheads video :

 

 

I do have mods that enhance textures, but I dont think that would effect the overall snow would it?

I added the winter overhaul mod instead of the four seasons.

I think this is the first thing you should address....... Swapping out dependencies on a mod makes for some rather strange results.
