There are town part named after Chevy Chase...lol, and if you get the Mesetron gun then read the manuals.

I dont get it, those who claim that there are no humore in F3, maybe cose they are comparin it to F1 and F2.

I also found then forgot a place where a cockroach Queen had a trone, gonna find it again.

I think Betsheda are lafing their ases of cose so many peaople are writing that there are no humor in the game.

It almost forgot, a robot character in a side mission in coke-facility, found him very hillarious.

You know waht, i bet there are more humore than in the previous games, you only haft to find it.

Anyway if i find more funny things/persond i am gonna post it here, please do the same.

The humor they are looking for is the fl2 humor... copious Monty python references, a lot of breaking the 4th wall, and a whole lot of slapstick.

Fallout 3 is grim like the original Fallout, and the humor that is there is black and dark. I love it. :D

Personally, I love hearing the Atom bomb preacher going at it every time I enter megaton.

its all nice and stuff, but even old F2 pushed the stupid reference humor too far

I mean... while exploring the post-nuclear world and stuff, can I please have no movie references for at least 2 minutes.. please?

especially if those movies were popular in US, and I dont live in US and dont understand that kind of humor even remotely, unless I happened to see the exact movie they had in mind...

I thought the whole tutorial was funny enough - the GOAT for example...

Oh No! Youve been exposed to radiation, and a hand has grown out of your stomach.. What do you do?

For your birthday Granny buys you a pistol, but youre shocked when she asks you to kill another Vault Member with it, what do you do? A: Throw your tea in grannys face!

Gotta love that.....

/facepalm

This should be filed with the people that claim massive lulz that bethesda put themselves in the game. Did nobody realize these places existed before they played fallout or did the radiation just addle their brain?

MechanicalPirate, thats a great idea adding humor via terminals.

No, it's just that most people don't know their geography. Somebody, I don't know whether it was on these boards or elsewhere, made a post commenting on how there was "a guy in the water" in the Project Purity control room and asked if there was a way to get him out (durr, it's the Jefferson Memorial you dolt, take a wild guess as to who the mystery man is).

Abraham Washington at the Capital Preservation Society is pretty funny, too- if you ask him for details on the Declaration of Independence, he rattles off this whole blatantly wrong story about the signing and how the document was then flown to England on a plane. It highlights the ignorance of a society so far removed from its history that it has been screwed up and mostly forgotten, but because we know what really happened it turns his sincere zeal for preserving "history" into absolute hilarity.

Then we have the Washington Monument- memorial to our first president and the man who led the Continental Army to victory against Great Britain- which has been turned into an over-glorified radio tower, the Capitol which has literally been taken over by bloodthirsty crooks, and the Lincoln Memorial which has, ironically enough, been occupied by slavers.

But no, Fallout 3 doesn't have dark humor in it at all. [/sarcasm]
