skonamis
I play Fallout 3 on Vostro 1510. Specs: Intel Core2 Duo CPU 2.10Ghz2GB RAMNvidia Geforce 8400 GS I have a lag inside rooms, houses, but theres no lag outside. i would be very happy if there could be a solution to this. I can't take all of this great game if it lags. Well, i am too excited about this game already, i'll "die" if i can't play it normally!! I have played Oblivion too. I didn't lag at all. I was almost playing at full specs and i was using low grass mod, framerate increasing and all that kinda stuff. So, i was thinking if someone who's great at modding games. And if you are going to create mods for Fallout 3. It would be really awsome/nice.. if someone can create a mod that makes Fallout 3 run better on weaker computers. Inside rooms, as i mentioned.. might it be the light that causes lagging? (PS: i think it's not a good idea to buy a new videocard or more ram, cause i have laptop.) :thanks:
21603
It's the flares on the lights that cause that. I'm not sure how well it will work for you, but you can try forcing Vertical Sync off in your Nvidia Control Panel. Seems to have lowered the lag for me, if only a little. I got that from the list of bugs on the Fallout 3 wikia, The Vault. What you can also do is lower the lighting setting from HDR to Bloom or none (yuck! though on none) and see if that improves it. skonamis
Unfortunately it didn't change anything. It still lags near flares. Anyway, 21603 :thanks: for trying to help. If it's a bug, then i hope they'll make a patch for it. Already waiting for fixes..
