Whiteflames99
Hello, I am in need of assistance. I set up my load order and merged patches and what not, and then I tried to launch FOSE to find out that it didn't get rid of the Windows Live option on the main menu. I clicked there, and there is nothing in it, it is just an empty HUD directory. My mods will not load, and when I run FOMM by itself the mods aren't running. I have everything set up to the best of my knowledge the way it is supposed to be, but it won't work. I have the GOTY retail version, I set the installation directory to the default Programs x86, I am running v 1.7.0.3, I have made no manual INI tweaks, but if disabling Archive Invalidation is an INI tweak, FOMM disabled it. Here is my load order. M48A5
Uninstall Fallout 3. Do a reinstall and when you are asked for a default install or custom install, choose custom install. In the box that appears, type in your install path. I used "C:\" (without the quotation marks), this installed the game in C:\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3. When you have done this, start the game and make sure it will run. Now you can install FOSE, then FOMM and your mods. Add your mods one at a time and check in game to ensure they work.
