thunderwolf86
I just think it would be pretty cool to transform into a bird of some kind and fly around skyrim, maybe with a toggle function or something.
rmn878
that would be awesome. You can turn into a dragon and fly with a mod but that's as close as it gets
avallanche
I did the same suggestion yesterday, but with a Raven instead of a Owl. Some kind of shapeshift flightform for immersive travels. Edited March 3, 2015 by avallanche
Skudworm
Resurrecting this topic because I would still love to see this if anyone's game, tried Burning Skies but as a dragon it just felt like a bit to much mass and there was this constant feeling of anxiety and looming urgency to kill everything in sight plus I was going so fast enemies and npc's weren't even loading as I zoomed around. As a bird things would be a lot more slower, relaxed and chilled out and you could use it as an actual form of transport. I suppose the main problem with this idea is that there's only actually one bird with is the hawk and I'm not even sure if its classed as an actual creature. Raigii
Or what about like a hawk or something?
Kantte
since it's been done with dragons, maybe somebody could scale the dragon model down and re-texture and/or remesh it to resemble any number of birds.
Boombro
Why owl? There are already meshes and textures of eagles, dragons and dragonflies. Making a new mesh or texture can't be learned and done in week, but making a something with a already ready model is much easier.
faffman
To be fair, owls are the birds most associated with wisdom and wizards in fantasy, so because it's a spell, an owl is most fitting. Which I assume is the reasoning behond wanting an owl. Other than that, I agree with you, Boom. The easiest route with the same result is to strive for. Personally I'd prefer a bat, though=) I'm pretty sure the better vampires mod lets you turn into a mist, but a bat would be so much cooler. Great idea!
