EachSaucer57
I'm new to the modding scene so I'm sorry if I'm not very helpful in describing my issue. I'm trying to play modded new Vegas on windows 10 but every time I try and load the game through a launcher (I have tried NMM and vortex) it will crash saying new Vegas has stopped working. I have the "who Vegas" mod installed and I have the NVSE installed too however when i run NVSE loader it says "couldnt find falloutNV.exe"if anyone can help I would be extremely grateful. HeyYou
Reinstall NVSE, it needs to go in the top level New Vegas folder, same folder as where the New Vegas executable file is. Make sure you follow the directions, and put all the files in there that it wants.
EachSaucer57
I cannot find an exe file. the route both NMM and vortex took were "windows (C:)\program files (x86)\ steam\ steamapps\ common\ fallout new vegas" is this the right one? I also un installed every mod I had active on both mod loaders and NMM worked fine but vortex had the same problem as before. im a dumbass when it comes to this sort of thing. M48A5
NVSE makes changes to the game files to allow scripts to be extended. Windows User Access Control does not allow any changes to be made to any files that are located in "Program Files". If you are using an operating system other than Windows 10, you can move the steam folder and the game to another location on your hard drive.
