Without internet,

Well we Wouldn't be bluffing here all day now hehehe...

But the internet is not an essential part of our life. A lot of arguments and "Dirty Thoughts" appear only in the internet. people commonly say that "You can keep away from those things..."etc. but they are wrong. some things are good and bad in their own way and internet is one of them...

Not a bad thing really I mean lots of bad stuff will happen but I think people would see the good side after a while. Health would be more common instead of fat kids like my self. Family would be closer and what not. I of corse am a weirdo I hate technolgy but I know i have to use it because that is what todays workd is using(I am 19 BTW) I would love to see the internet destroyed the only sad thing would be "how would I comunicate with my frinds up north?"

Right. The only thing i'll really miss will be chatting with friends and coming here to look for mods, or some interesting discussions.

This would prevent us for meeting people we couldn't have met without internet, and this is probably the worse thing of this hypothetic situation (from my point of view)...

Humankind would go back to doing what it always does. Take a step back, reevaluate, and rebuild. That's what happened with the first attempts at flight, and, heck, the first attempts at ANYTHING. We have a tendency of when we're used to something being there and it goes bye bye, we do whatever the heck we can to get it back. I would actually be fine without the internet. Text messaging is done via normal cellular communications, which has small ties to the internet, but don't require it to function. Granted, half the features on my phone would become obsolete, but that's something I can live without. I've got NUMEROUS things I could do besides the internet. I know for a fact also that text messages don't get transferred over the internet due to the fact that when hurricane Ike took out the cellular towers and a temporary one was put in place, we were encouraged to send text messages due to the fact it takes less resources on the cellular network to deliver. Ever wonder why that 160 character limit was there? More than making money. That's the maximum that a cell tower can effectively transmit at one time.

I'd live because I think myspace is Lucifer and texting is just dumb and every one whlod lern instead of worrying if there record on breakout is broken.

In short just laugh at everyone in the corner

Whoah, took me a few to understand the gist of what you were saying there. I think I got it though :P If the internet went down, think about this: There would be no more ATMs, no more banks with the records of your money deposited, no credit cards, no checks, nothing. The entire economy in the US, and probably most of the modern world, depend on the internet. You might live, but it wouldn't be anything like it seems you're thinking of.
