DragonBorn5185
Well it has started again. Everything has been doing great, no real problems. Now, pretty much anywhere I go around Cambridge and my fps drops to less than zero. Anyone else having issues around Cambridge or is it just me. Doesn't do anywhere else, just Cambridge. And I have no mods that modify anything near Cambridge,
DragonBorn5185
Now it locks up no matter where the hell i go. PISS on it, I will deal with this trash LATER!!!
DragonBorn5185
In the following photo in the crosshairs is where the fps drops to less than 1. Now, it hasn't locked up since I can very very slowly turn around and move in the direction I came from and it will go back to normal. My System is....... Windows 7 64bit Amd FX 8350 4gb 12gb of memory Radeon r9 380 2gb(I meant to purchase the 380x which is the 4gb card, but wound up with the 2gb card.) I have my OS on drive C which is 62gb free of 149gb. Have increased my Virtual memory to the recommended. My game is on drive F which is 206gb free of 931gb. # This file was automatically generated by Mod Organizer.Fallout4.esmDLCRobot.esmDLCworkshop01.esmDLCCoast.esmDLCworkshop02.esmDLCworkshop03.esmDLCNukaWorld.esmUnofficial Fallout 4 Patch.espZ_Architect.esmEndless Warfare.esmArmorKeywords.esmHomemaker.esmSettlementKeywords.esmSimSettlements.esmWorkshopFramework.esmHUDFramework.esmEthreonMasterPlan.esmTrueStormsFO4.esmPANPC.esmGCM_DLC_Automatron.eslImmersiveTeleportation.eslGCM_DLC_Far_Harbor.eslCampsite-Full-Sleep.espCampsite.espZ_Horizon_Loot_Respawn.espZ_Horizon_Loot_Respawn_DLC.espZ_Architect_HomePlate.espZ_Architect_Extras.espZ_Extras.espEndlessWarfareDLCFixes.espAWKCR - dnCommonArmor dlc legendaries bugfix.espGunnersPlazaInterior.espImmersiveGunnersPlaza.esphome_improvement_all.espHamed Bridge.espVanillaExtensions.espSnapBeds.espSLR.espSlowTime.espGKX Worthwhile Caps Stashes.espBetter Perks.espBetter VATS - 0.75.espBetter Power Armor - Extended.espBetter Locational Damage - DLC_WWorkshop.espBetter Locational Damage.espBetter Power Armor - BLD - Patch.espBLD - Leveled Lists - DLC.espTepiltzinsNicerSafeLoot.espBetter Locational Damage - DLC_Automatron.espBetter Locational Damage - DLC_Far_Harbor.espBetter Locational Damage - DLC_Nuka_World.espFallComplete.espTrueStormsFO4-FarHarbor.espTrueStormsFO4-EarlierSunsetsFH.espTrueStormsFO4-EarlierSunsets.espTrue Nights v03.espSKKCombatStalkers.espUncappedSettlementSurplus.espShelteredBeds.espWorkshopPlus.espHomemaker - Streetlights Use Passive Power.espHomemaker - Unlocked Institute Objects.espCBBE.espUnique NPCs - Creatures and Monsters.espclothingoverhaul.espMore Power Armour Mods.espClothingOverhaulSP_XB1_PC.espBZW_SWAT.espNIS - Hunted.espCheatTerminal.espHard Legendary Giant Creatures.espRespawnable Legendary Bosses.espLegendaryModification.espLegendaryModification2LM.espLegendaryModification2LMAKPatch.espLegendaryModification Enhanced.espConsistent Power Armor Overhaul.espArmorsmith Extended.espArmorsmith All DLCs Patch.espImmersive Fallout (DLC).espThePrison.espSpawnSettlerButton.espCROSS_Jetpack.espFriffy_Piper Outfit_Standalone.espNoFallDamage.espGCM.espZ_Horizon.espZ_Horizon_Timescale.espZ_Horizon_DEFUI.espZ_Horizon_CPAM.espCPAM Fixes.espZ_Horizon_WeaponPack01.espZ_Horizon_Mode_Scavenger.espZ_Horizon_DLC_All.espZ_Architect_EnhancedSettlements.espZ_Architect_EnhancedSettlements_DLC.espPatch_Horizon_ImmersiveFallout_Default (DLC).espImmersiveTeleportationHorizon.espZ_Plugin.espspectacleislandreborn.espSpectacleIsleBridge2.espCAS Sanctuary and Red Rocket.espScrap Everything - Ultimate Edition.espImmersiveScrapping_SeasonPass.espNoTwigs.espCatDecoFloors.espFO4Hotkeys.espKor_Highlight.espPip-Boy Flashlight.espgrenarc.espAdvSettleTurretSet.espAmazingFollowerTweaks.espBostonFPSFixAIO.espConverging_Conveyors.espHideUI.espHomePlateWorkshopSettlement.espManufacturingExtended.espMore Materials Loot.espMore Smarter Companions Mod.espno borders.espNoLollygagging.espNorthland Diggers New.espOA_LootableMaterialsCrates_vanilla_mergedDLC.espTheMobileMechanic.espTurretStands.espUnderground RailroadALLDLC.espYAGI_Horizon_Builders.espYAGI_Horizon_Builders_ME_Patch.espYou Talk Too Much.esp My load order is probably all screwed up, main thing I would like to know is conflicting mods. cossayos
I don't know the settings you're playing with, but a 2GB card is on the lowest end of the spectrum to keep FO4 afloat. Hardly keeps it going, I'd say and I'm surprised you even can enjoy the game.
G4M3W1NN3R
Your Framerate should never reach 0, that would indicate depleted resources, or hardware issues as such it is very likely due insufficient Resources (Vram) as mentioned above, 2GB Vram is bare minimum. it looks like you are running the Game in ultra or high resolution (based to your draw distance), try dropping it lower.Set Shadow Quality to medium or lowSet Shadow Distance to low.Disable Godrays, it is a performance killeruse Fxaa Anitalisiang instead of TAAAlso disable SSAO if applicable. Shadow Distance has a massive impact on performance, as this is a CPU Bound Setting. Download Vivid All In One, Better Textures + Better PerformanceBethesda is using Un-Optimized 2k textures (For absolutely everything) <-- meaning these textures will demand more then they should. if you run out of Vram (Very likely), the game will then use the much slower System Ram, which will impact performance. (Baring in mind the game is not the only thing that uses hardware resources, windows also does, as well as background programs, so your hardware resources are even more limited before you even get in game) on to mods (these mods will affect your performance heavily, due to your GPU Limitations): Unique NPCs - Creatures and Monsters.esp <-- performance impact, uses 2k textures Scrap Everything - Ultimate Edition <-- Breaks Pre-Combines (Resulting in Severe Performance drops, and can Cause CTDs. Broken Precombines also creates the Visual Bug that restores Scrapped Content, thus rendering the mod counterproductive) Sim Settlements <-- heavy performance impact. Note: as said Due to your Severely Limited 2GB Vram, all of these mods will affect it heavily. Additional Information: BostonFPSFixAIO <-- place this at the very bottom of your load order to give it maximum priority Download Place Everywhere instead of Scrap Everything, Place Everywhere is much safer to use, and can scrap most things, it also offers a lot of additiional features such as object resizing, defined placements etc etc
DragonBorn5185
I was just wondering about sim settlement along with horizon. I know there are patches for it. But horizon changes so much to the settlement build menu and so does sim settlements. Wonder if since they both change so much that they might be causing problems with each other. I have moved over to mod organizer and love how easy it is to create a new profile. So I think I will create a new one without scrap everything. I do use place everywhere and have been for a while, just didn't realize that it also allowed the ability to scrap more items. And on my video I meant to purchase the 380x which is the 4gb card, but wound up with the 2gb card. And I remember going back and double checking on the order to make sure they did not send me the wrong card, nope, that is what I ordered. I will for now just get rid of sim settlements and try that. I love the way the unique npc's changes the looks of the animals. Also, one the true nights I used the ENB he recommended along with the subtle enb. I did think of this when having the issue of freezing at Cambridge and uninstalled it and it didn't help. Just wanting your take on it. Any video cards you might could recommend somewhere around the $200 range. When it comes to reading the specs and picking the right one, that is where I run into troubles. I have done a search online, but whew, it can be mind scrambling in itself.

Sim settlements will definetely bring you to the knees of your specs. Even on lowest settings. Your card isn't fit to run the game. Face it. I wonder why anyone buys a 2GB card these days. It's not up to run any modern game.
DiodeLadder
Hello DragonBorn, I've been using RX580 8GB for some time, and it runs the game quite well (even runs stuff like new Tomb Raider games very well in 1080p also). With the High Res DLC loaded, the VRAM usage I think is around 3,6 GB or so. I'd probably go for the new navi generation, however, if there's one at around this price. Anyway, the game might momentarily freeze when it has to load extra texture sets. The landscape changes - you get different sets of buildings in the new area, and you happen to have higher resolution replacement textures for them, for example. Also, if you have a group of enemies with special armors/weapons with high resolution textures, the same could happen. Enemies with unique face-gen data that don't come with pre-rendered textures, they'd freeze your game while they are being calculated on the fly. What you are describing sounds like something is being loaded when you walk to that cell, and once it's loaded, the game goes back to its business. Another thing - if you have a settlement (or modded town area with no optimization) with a lot of build objects, the same kind of slow down might happen. Does any of that sound like your case? cossayos
What you are describing sounds like something is being loaded when you walk to that cell, and once it's loaded, the game goes back to its business. That happens to many of us. A lag, maybe three or four seconds until everything is loaded. But that's it. Not a complete lockup. That's a hardware issue and/or to high ingame settings. Any video cards you might could recommend somewhere around the $200 range. When it comes to reading the specs and picking the right one, that is where I run into troubles. I have done a search online, but whew, it can be mind scrambling in itself. 1. horizon is a complete overhaul, as such it is not recommended to run it with many mods, due to overhauls having the very high potential of having much more mod conflicts then normal. (Overhauls, more so then any other mod, is completely desgined to run solo. thats not to say you cant run it with other mods, but it will be unwise to run it with other mods that affect any of the mod categories that the overhaul changes.) with that said, i have been watching a playthrough of a guy that is running horizon along side sim settlements conqueror, and he has not run into issues, so i would say they are compatible. we are talking 30+ hours worth of video content primarily aimed at these mods. 2. for place everywhere their is a toggle for Extra Objects (Press the Insert key to toggle it on and off), this will allow you to scrap loads more objects. 3. for unique npcs, i agree with you, i have both mods, but as said they will be demanding on Vram, which is something you dont have enough of. 4. ENB is out the question, your card will not run ENBs. they are the most demanding visual enhancements their is. 5. if you can give me a list of all GPUs that are in your price range, i will let you know which is best option. however due to the fact i am from the uk, our price range will vary greatly as such it would be hard for me to give you a straight up recommendation. but yea as said if you can give me a list of all cards that are in your price range, i will be able help.
