darkphoenixff4
Okay, I'm going to be short and sweet. A few months ago, I put up this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/26007 It works, but it's hard to follow. Would it be a site rule violation if I just uploaded the fixed mod? Or maybe even just the working mod files, still requiring the download of the original mod to get things working? I don't want to violate any rules, but I'm also getting somewhat sick of people leaving me "I can't figure this out" messages...
kryten397
To change the original mod you need the authors permission.Have you tried to contact them?

Dunno if I'll get a response, though; the blog itself hasn't had an update or an approved comment since 2015.

However, it's a common practice in the community that anyone who wish to change a thing or two for personal use can do it without author's permission. In any case, if you are not sure then why not send a PM to Nexus staff (I know Zaldiir is a modder and a moderator) and ask them for advice. darkphoenixff4
Just a quick update; I sent an email to the original developer the same day I posted this. Two months later, I've still not received a response...
apposl
Ridiculous you can't just upload a fix in situations like this.
