Korodic
probably caused from a mod. I would get rid of skyrim and all of the mods and start fresh. Since your new you're probably going to be all... (っ◕‿◕)っ <(MODSSSSSSS) But you actually need to be fairly selective in the mods you choose. Not every author does the best possible job they can, and naturally there will be conflicts and such and other things that may cause your game to mess up. Be careful in which ya chooseeeee. Georgiegril
Adding to the above, you may find BBens guide helpful, especially the installation and mods stuff. If you are not familiar with BOSS already, I would suggest downloading it and running after each mod you add, including reading the BOSS log and addressing any messages it gives you, then playing through the game to make sure it's working well before adding the next
fraserl
thanks for the replys, im trying out fnis? an animation tool to see if that helps :) first of all fag break, im this close to losing my temper lol, fun times, if i save my mods to another location then completely get rid of skyrim, asin bbens guide, will the mods still be compatible, and can i start a new game with mods? i was sorely confused when i uninstalled and it just loaded up what i already done :S again thanks hopefully il have this sorted by tonight :)
Georgiegril
After you reinstal Skyrim and start a new game, you would be looking at less trouble in the long run to reinstall mods slowly, one or two at a time, then running BOSS and addressing any messages BOSS gives you, playing a bit to make sure your game is working well, before adding one or two more. Time up front will decrease your likelihood of the hair-tearing you are currently suffering.
fraserl
indeed, ive cleared all the skyrim folders (i think), cleaned the registry, ive also uninstalled mod manager for now, just kept the mods in a completely seperate folder to add back in one at a time after testing each mod :) im currently waiting for it to reinstall atm, will be back if more problems, and ive got boss, didnt know it exsisted until mentioned so thanks for that people :)
IsharaMeradin
First off, actors stuck in a arms out to the side pose typically indicates a skeleton issue. What I mean by that is that when you have various mod content and some of it relies on a modified skeleton and others relying on a different skeleton the animations won't be able to work because the game is confused and doesn't know what to do. You have to be very very careful about what mods you install together. Body mods may seem like a safe retexture mod but in fact they can be problematic if not installed properly. For just starting out I would recommend avoiding the fancy breast mechanics and such and stick with the simple versions that only apply new texture & smoother mesh. That said, since you've not gotten very far in the game at all.... scrap your saves and start fresh. Save games store data from session to session and even if you were to uninstall all the mods there would still be lingering data which can cause problems down the road. You've already gotten some good advice, so there is no need to repeat all that :P However, I'd like to direct you to S.T.E.P. While you don't have to follow their recommendations on what mods to use they do have a good source of guides to help you get your game back to a working stock setup and more.STEP Nexus pageMaking Skyrim Vanilla AgainSkyrim Installation Guide
