dragonslayer2k12
Ohhh! That is making me have some sexy time thoughts about skyrim:-) The whip animations alone would be really hard for someone to do and I don't know if animations from oblivion can be ported to skyrim by conversion of any kind. I have been wondering why a simple thing like a whip was not in skyrim actually, they have reigns for horses and carriages, they could have whips for... people too hehe. Trucidation
Damn, if an Oblivion mod already exists it shouldn't be too much trouble to adapt it for Skyrim. Anyone know the modder involved?
jimmybob
seems to have been made by a german modder named "Snusmumriken" who never uploaded this to nexus, and is not a member (at least not under that name)
Deleted1308005User
TBH, some really good-looking and well made things are never uploaded to nexus, it's probably a bit similar thing to why Nexus modders won't upload to Steam Workshop. Also, usually got ported stuff from other games. But still, well ported and so.Anyway. It's not just as easy as "porting" the item from oblivion to skyrim. To me it looks like there is some new animations, though I am not sure.At least the weapon is animated pretty well, and it would be probably easier to create it from a scratch. Also, maybe scripting. As it's not acting like regular animated weapon, this uses the animations only when attacking, not constantly like all the mods currently do = scripting? Not a piece of cake. But maybe possible.Would help to see what the modder has said about it, what's included with the mod and so, but I don't really have so big interest in whips. (just doesn't fit the animations of skyrim?) Feel free to correct me if I said something wrong.
Trucidation
Na, sounds about right. Didn't think it's be as easy as drag-drop from Oblivion, but I figure it might be an interesting exercise for curious animators.
