invaderark12
In Hearthfire, I noticed that if you ask Aela the Huntress how the kids are doing she will ALWAYS give a negative response unless its in Proudspire Manor (Solitude). I don't know if its the same for all spouses, but the thing I hate isn't that the developers tried to make her seem caring. Its that it doesn't make sense. For example, in my homes in Lakeview Manor (Falkreath) and in Heljarchen Hall (the Pale) she complains that theres too many creatures and monsters. Shes Aela the HUNTRESS. She shouldn't complain that she has to fight off bears and spiders, it doesn't seem like her character. Any who, is there any way to remove this dialog (if its simple, then I'm sorry, I'm new to modding).
cyrus224
It's out of character yes, but for the most part in situations like this all the voice acting is generic. The actors have a script that each marriage candidate will say, and each voice actor says the same things, and this may go onto several characters. AnkhAscendant
Maybe they did it on purpose, to say that underneath that furry, armored exterior she's a delicate city-girl at heart, just wanting to settle down and raise a family and be a good wife :P And now that she finally has the chance to be all domestic and feminine you force her to live in the middle of nowhere, beset by monsters and bandits? You're a terrible, thoughtless spouse. --Hearthfire, setting feminism back by decades.
