mewarmonger
Vortex won't let you use "redundant files." I mean, it'll let you use them but it won't use them. lol. So, like my random sex mod from Sexlab won't work. It has 9 files, with lots of redundancies. With NMM, if you added a file with "redundant" files in it, it would ask you if you want these redundant files to replace the other ones, and you click "yes to all." Vortex just keeps bugging you about "danger Will Robinson. Redundant files. Danger! Danger! Danger!" lol So, I had to put NMM back on here so I could use that mod. So you never clicked "FIX" on the Redundant Files popup in Vortex?
BigBizkit
What you are describing is not the same thing as "redundancy". Redundant files in Vortex are files that are (currently, with your conflict resolution setting) entirely being "overwritten" by other mod files. This makes those files completely redundant, i.e. they are being completely ignored because other files that load after them take precedence. You just have to resolve your file conflict and select the mod you want to win the conflict to load after the other conflicting mod.
mewarmonger
No, there's no "fix" button. Just constantly complaining about redundant files. Says everything is fine, but the mod won't work and it won't stop complaining about redundant files. Wants me to turn off all the ones it says are redundant. The mod in-game "seems" to be fine, except it doesn't perform it's function. If I turn off the files vortex says are redundant, the mod exists in-game, but you can't click the button to activate it. If I use NMM, it just says "replace them with these?" and yes to all. boom, works fine.
