New game plus

Hi there, OK here's a new one; I would like to start a new game with my current character, at his level just no quests completed. My biggest problem is I can never reach the higher levels without getting bored with where I am in the game, so then I restart the game and do it all over again; INCLUDING getting bored at the same spot. I'd like to enter the game with a character that already has experience and perks so I can go up against high level enemies that I never get to fight due to my short attention span.

This would be a nice simple idea for a mod, but in the meantime it wouldn't take that long to do using the console. Simply add all your perks and items, make the character look like your original character and you're practically there. Only thing I can think of that wouldn't carry over is all the stat tracking like "books read", "animals killed" etc.

I also would love to see a new game + mod for Skyrim.

Is there a console command to reset quests? I thought there was one but you had to type in name of quest. Would need to add script with all the quest names in it. Sorry, started thinking about it when I was typing.

That would be cool. I'm just learning to use the creation kit. Once I've got it down I have a first mod planned.

Do you guys think new game plus would be doable for a novice moder with plenty of time?

I support this suggestion. A New Game+ mod would be sweet.

Just making assumptions here, but I would expect one would have to either find a way to port all your character data to a new game save, or reset every quest in the game at once and send your character back to Helgen.

Either way, I'd expect this to be some pretty advanced stuff.

Or create a new character with the exact same look. Next run a .bat file that sets up your skills and perks as they were with your other character.

No need to modify quest data, reset scripts, nothing increadibly complicated that will possibly mess your game up for good.
