NPC's do not engage in random dialogue with each other like in Oblivion? In Oblivion NPC's would randomly talk to each other, but I haven't noticed it in this game at all. They seem to talk to each other for quests and stuff but not just the random conversation? It may not sound like a big deal but it is, if you can imagine a bunch of NPC's just standing around going about their business but not talking or saying anything except to me, well that's getting pretty annoying and very immersion breaking and I want it fixed! Please help if you know weather or not this is a bug or just how the game is, thanks.

NPCs are engaging in random conversations all the time in Skyrim.

Either you have a bug or you've been terribly unlucky.

To check it, go to the Whiterun market.

You can easily witness up to 4 or 5 conversations in a 2-minute span.

NPCs will talk to each other in pretty much every location and settlement.

I must have a bug then, they just talk to me and walk around and go about their buss but don't talk to each other, all though I do see it sometimes when I'm supposed to, like a topic or a quest.

Does anyone know if I could change this using the CK or ini tweaks? I'm decent with the CK I think I just need to be pointed in the right direction. Thanks

Also I would like to make my NPC followers randomly say comments and engage in conversation with each other, maybe in the future comment on landmarks or creatures. Any help?
