What I miss

Another thing that is stupid is with Heartfire.

on one character I got the house in the middle of nowhere, all my other characters I get a letter from falcreath (sp).

I made a new character last night for the new companion mod (the link I posted above).

I exited Helgan, talked to Alvor, went to Bleakfalls(sp), went back to riverwood to give the golden claw. When I exited there was the courier with a letter from the Jarl of Falcreath about buying land for the house(I hadn't even been to whiterun yet).

At first I thought it was determined by what town you were in the most, but now not sure as i had only been to 1 town.

I wish it was made so you could pick where you wanted the home, not where they choose for you.

I am considering removing the mod for these reasons.

you get the land for a house as a reward from a jarl. sort of like the thane quests. you shouldn't have gotten a letter from falkreath yet though.

Np. You can tell the games definitely dated, but for that it looks pretty good. Haven't got it installed atm, but.

As for the diceroll, l never really noticed it. Lol. Honestly it's a lot harder from what l remember than skyrim. I used to try playing on the higher difficulties all the time, but if i started with an early character the db assassin would kick my ass into oblivion fairly easily. (Mind, I usually go for a mage type character.) Now I play on nothing but master difficulty.

Maybe Im just more aware though, morrowind was my first real in depth game. haha...

I miss the;

- age slider

- Guild Quests

- a large city ( Solitude is a nice size, but i mean imperial city big)

- the begger's voice changing between lines ( not really but still it made you wonder if they where really beggers or pretenders)

- spears

- mix and match armor

-dressing my character in the menu and being able to see it all equipped before exiting the menu

Yea, a lot of that is the godawful dice roll system.

If I get destroyed in Skyrim I know its because I made a dumb move personally and got myself killed.

I agree, but what I should have gotten and what I did get are totally different.

I removed Heartfire, because I was tired of getting letters from nowhere other than Falcreath (even though I had never been there with 99% of my characters), and I spread my characters out in different cities/towns as their base.

i haven't had these issues, could it be a mod conflict or are you not using the unofficial hearthfire patch? i've built houses in all 3 holds. not all on the same character.

Well I don't have any town mods at all, I don't use "unofficial patches" as a rule. Mianly because Bethesda fixes most of the glitches eventually, like the 1.8 beta patch fixes the companion glitch.

In previous Elderscroll games, I have found that unofficial patches introduce more problems than they fix, so i stay away from them

The mods I have are companion mods, character mods, armor and weapon mods, Deadly Dragons and War Zones thats about all

haha, I just realized what I miss a whole lot at lower levels.

Devine intervention, it could have saved my behind several times.

On the plus side I recently downloaded the Luxury Suit, (before any comments, i use CBBE clothed), and at lower levels I make good use of the portal spell, especially when in a dungeon, saved my bacon a few times already.
