phoenixgirl101
Hello, I recently reset my PC to resolve a few issues I was having. It removed most of my programs including Vortex but none of my downloaded mods or game were removed in the reset. The issue I have been struggling to fix on my own is getting vortex to recognize the mods already installed on my games specifically Skyrim SE. All my mods are still in the folder of my Skyrim, vortex shows a few plugins but none of my mods show in the mod menu. Is there anyway to resolve this without re downloading all my mods? I'd also like to state if i launch Skyrim through it's folder the mods do work. Thank you for your time!
Pickysaurus
Did you delete your AppData folder? If so you've deleted Vortex's memory of which mods you had installed. In this instance, you're probably best to delete the game folder and redownload it - then add your mods again via Vortex.

Delete the game from the vortex folder or the game entirely? and also redownload everything from the nexus?
Pickysaurus
If you still have the downloaded mod archives you can copy them back to Vortex's download folder. But if there are non-vanilla files in your game folder, you would be best to completely remove the game folder and reinstall it.
