Quirkyblonde
Okay, so I'm trying to put a new horse with a new skin in the Skyrim world. I can get the horse to appear, but it won't have my new skin on it. I did the nifskope thing, assigning the new textures to the model but it won't work in the CK or ingame. What am I doing wrong? Here's what I do, step by step: 1. drag and drop new mesh into horse section of CK2. duplicate player horse, give it a new ID3. straight down from there at the bottom is a drop menu labeled "actorbase" I change that to the name of my new mesh4. I uncheck the "traits" box below that here's what I'm looking at: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/coreinha/guh_zpsc7253da2.png
Mujuro
I've never tried doing what you're doing, so I could be completely off-base here. I believe what you need to do is the following, based on your screenshot above: Make a copy of the "SkinHorseGreyHide" formOpen up your copy and change the meshes you find to your custom ones. This is all assuming, of course, that you have custom meshes that already point to your new textures. Otherwise, make note of the meshes, go into your Skyrim\Data\Meshes and find them, make copies/rename, and point them to your new custom textures.
