nuka world disciples spawning with out clothes

Like the title says, the Disciples are spawning with no clothes in their inventory. they have armor pieces equipped but other then that they're walking around naked. I'm not sure that the issue is even mod related as i deactivated all of my mods and they still insist on walking around mostly nude. also, this is just affecting the common rabble, none of the gangs leaders seam to be affected. I saw a thing suggesting that the issue cold have to do with the files associated with their clothing being corrupt but i lost track of where i saw it and cant find it again. any help would be appreciated as i would like to have these dudes start taking things over, preferably while wearing pants.

before we get into the mods. loot 1 of the naked raiders, to see if they do actually have any outfits in their loot pool ( as in the quick loot container that pops up when hovering the mouse over the body).

 

Invisible/naked NPCs is almost always a biped slot issue, where both the armor record entry and amor addon record entry do not match, (so if they do indeed have outfits in their loot pool, but not equipping than that is why)

 

however it could also be a mod that has modified the leveled lists for these raiders, and they could potentially have CBBE only clothing/armor in their leveled lists, which would of cause prevent male raiders from equipping CBBE clothing/armor.

 

so yea if its the former, i will teach you how to fix this issue, however if its the latter, then i will have a look at your mods.

 

if they do indeed have outfits, let me know what they are.

You've got several clothing mods, and a few raider mods. So this one might be a tad difficult.

It's been about a few months, and quite a few load order builds ago, so I don't remember what mod it was. And it was before I started keeping track of what mods I would install. But I remember I had a mod that all of a sudden, I went to Diamond City, and all the DC guard uniforms no longer had pants. It was quite a shock to say the least. And annoying when THEY would tell ME to put some clothes on!

 

My first guess, just doing a quick look over your load order might be Harness-calyps.esp

That one makes edits to the leather harness (worn by oh so many raiders), and that mod does make alterations to the pants.

Aside from that, yeah....with as many potential conflicts and you might have, I'm waiting back to hear what the results are from what Gamewinner suggested, before I even try to dive into this.

Hey, thanks for the response. I double checked and both male and female members of the Disciples are spawning with no outfits in their loot pool.

Ugh. Yup, there's holes in your level lists. Something removed the items that they're supposed to be having.

I really, really suck with level lists, especially dealing with multiple items.

I do however, know the theory. So please let me ask.... Gamewinner.... would it be possible to fix this with a patch? Like just creating a new level list for the NPC's with the problem, and then run the patch esp towards the low end of the load order? I'm thinking it would over-write whatever mod is used that put the hole there in the list, without conflicting with any mods that make other alterations to these particular raiders?

Download Wrye Bash: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/20032

 

Run it - Scroll right down to the bottom - Right Click on Bash Patch,0 - Rebuild Patch - then Press Build on the window that popsup.

 

click on yes to the other window that popsup (which asks to enable the bash patch)

 

wait 48 in game hours, and your issue will be resolved. leave bash patch where it is in the load order, it must have maximum priority and thus always be the very last mod in the load order, always follow the steps above everytime you add or remove a mod.

 

Wrye bash will merged all leveled lists so that every mod that adds or edits leveled lists will all have an equal chance of having their items spawn in game, that also includes fallout 4.esm and all DLC.

Bash patch will resolve the issue. but yea what you asking would also work, however your new leveled list would need to be placed in the global armor/clothing leveled list for raiders so this could still potentially cause conflicts with any other mod that also adds to or edits the leveled lists in the global armor/clothing leveled list for raiders.

 

however a bash patch would resolve all possible leveled lists based issues for every single mod that uses or edits them, without causing overrides/conflicts.

bash patch are completely essential for modding, as they prevent overrides, and also help with game stability.
