leotheEliteMajor117
What if I do that? Remove NVSR and add in Tick Fix? Would it work? Also would there be a windows 7 version for tick fix?
M48A5
Why do you think it will improve performance with Windows 7? The author states "If you are using windows 7, stick with NVSR. It still has critical section handling which is a noticeable improvement. "

"Thought that the tick fix is a different type of stutter remover or thought it was an upgraded version of the stutter remover feature. Still, thx for pointing out. Almost got it to testing myself. dubiousintent
Read mod descriptions carefully. NVTF (aka "Tick Fix") describes itself as "A lighter, more compatible version of the 64hz stutter bug fix from NVSR." It addresses one specific bug: the 64Hz cause of "micro stutter", and also includes the highly popular "Fast Exit" feature from NVSR. Period. You create problems for yourself by attributing features and aspects to a mod that it does not state. Impatience causes most problems with modding a game. -Dubious-
GamerRick
I tried it and went back to NVSR. Tick Fix removes features that don't work on Win10, and thus I experienced more stuttering with it. NVSR with default settings works best for me on Win7.
