InfamousH
So here's the deal. My Steam Skyrim has begun to mysteriously crash every time I attempt to fast-travel. I started noticing it right after I downloaded the Univison Face (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/14569), and Enhanced Character Edit (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12951) mods. After installing them, I left my Hearthfire house in Falkreath and went outside. I pulled up the world map, and selected fast-travel to Whiterun. Maybe 30 seconds into the loading screen, the game simply quits to the desktop. No warning, no error message, nothing. It just quit. Naturally, I assumed the new mods were the cause. So I deleted them, however, the same thing happened. Went outside, selected fast travel, and the game quits. I have tried everything I can think of to fix this. I verified my Steam cache. I have deleted and re-installed ALL my mods (57), I have deleted my save files and restored them with copied backups from a temporary desktop folder. I have un-installed my game from Steam and re-installed it. NOTHING works! EVERY SINGLE time I attempt to fast travel (even with a carriage), the game will quit after about 20-30 seconds on the loading screen. Someone please help me! I spent too much money to buy BootCamp for my computer and purchase Skytim on Steam to have it all fall apart on me. Georgiegril
I would suggest a clean reinstall of Skyrim, with no mods and no DLC. Add things one at a time, reading every mod carefully to make sure it is compatible with your DLCs, and making sure you download the correct version for your DLC. run BOSS after each addition and play a while to make sure it is working. If you run into a problem, do not continue or add anything until you identify the problem and fix it.

Did you install (Enhanced Character Edit description)"Note: DLC DawnGuard required RaceCompatibility for Dawnguard. Please download and overwrite. "Use BOSS or manually adjust load order when installing new mods to ensure load happyness. Edited October 29, 2012 by MOTOSXORPIO
