Shadow was sucking the soul out of the werewolf all its fur began to fall off. After Shadow finshed his meal all that was left was a pile of bones. Shadow's fangs retracted to the roof of his mouth and said "The_Reaper is a werewolf I knew it from the beginning but thought I should not tell you. Nevex Posted August 9, 2003 Share Posted August 9, 2003 Nevex comes speeding through the woods blending in near completely except for the large splatters of blood in a deep red almost black fasion, even though his face be coved with a mask-like helm his current thoughts seemed to eminate out with his body movement as if he was letting himself go with the feeling of utter hatred."Make that seven or more my furry companion, someone doesn't want us here,"Nevex finishes for a second catching his breath in a hoarse deep breathing putting one hand on his knee,"they slaughtered the village...it wasn't just werewolves it appeared though there were many others."Taking a step forward he notices there is already some minor chaos in the group as it is, but then deciding he must speak of what he had seen he then continues."I tried my best to provide protection to some of the villagers, I too would have been dead if not for my...special...qualitys. I cut down but two werewolves it was a fight I wish not to repeat as of now. They seemed to have been coming from a diffrent dirrection than this when they entered the village. I couldn't do anything..I was helpless."Nevex begins to break down before his companions and then slumps to his knees from wounds and mental trama."So much death..so much. The girl screamed out before they sliced her open..that she did..she screamed."Nevex goes silent even though his tale did not seem quite finished of yet. I believe our best chance is to move on, hopefully we will have a headstart on the beasts... unless they are already heading this way...?" Kain asks. He then follows with cleaning the blade of the fowl blood on it. I did what I could attacking but their overwhelming number and strength allowed me not enough time to slay but the two..I have killed werewolves in my day but these..they didn't have a lust for blood they had a purpose they were sent, no, ordered to come forth and kill."Nevex takes a deep breath as if gaining force behind his words."I saw a greatly sized figure chopping through the helpless villagers, even hitting its fellow things of the dark. It had a great axe with it, one that I believe no mortal could weild...It felt wrong to witness such a thing..as if it were pure evil.""I was near overwhelmed myself by them, but if I stayed but a moment longer they would have had me and I would have met the same as the villagers. I escaped not running in fear but in purpose to warn you all as I should have done earlier, many's fate rest upon us now. Those who have died are only a grim reminder of this. HeLLL you must do this, you must complete it..maybe the rest of our help with serve protection for the quest, I fear the danger is far from over..it is just beginning."With this Nevex goes silent to let the words seep into his companions. And if what the_raper is saying, there are two more werewolves around and I don't think we are in a state to fight them. HeLLL turns to Thomas. We have just been ambuished by some werewolves. There are twoo more around here. Also Nevex has informaed as that some werewolves attacked Beonith and slaughtered all the towns folk. HeLLL speaks up to the group. We should move on like Kain has suggested. Those in need of dire healing please let me tend to your wounds we leave here very shortly for Rhaln. We shall not stop. Drop whatever you do not need and make pace. The night air is starting to chill even more. The sounds of wolves can be heard all around. The smell of blood is so strong it could make you sick. Behind them in the direction of Beonith; flames shoot into the sky. HeLLL once again adress the group. Friends I do not believe in cold blooded revenge. I have not had time to prepare more as of yet but I shall when I once again have time to." (OOC) I'm not going to be on for the rest of today and maybe part of tomorrow. Not many could of witnessed and survived what you have just been through. HeLLL lowers his head in remembrence. HeLLL focus his attention to thomas. Are you going to alert the legion or travel with us. A man with your skills may mean the difference between live or death. HeLLL scouts the group for shadow. Ahh shadow. Your keen sense's have alerted us to this situation. I fear if you had not been here things could of been quite diffrent. HeLLL faces kain. Kain have you ever seen something like this before? Oh yes....united legion of rogue Werewolves, evil mutant beasties, One all-powerful ring leader, pretty standard fare. At least I won't have to deal with that bothersome girl or her rolling-pin weilding mother anymore eh?!!" He said with a wolfish grin, elbowing Hell in the ribs.
