Pickysaurus
Hmm ok so it's not a bugged extension. What options do you have under "Fix" for the deployment error message?
worstcaster
Under Fix: "Deployment methods Vortex supports different Deployment Method to support a wide variety of systems and games, but some may only be available with the right settings. Right now, none of the available deployment methods seem to be usable, but this is usually easy to fix. On the following screens we will offer possible solutions, simplest one first." Solution 1: "Hardlink Deployment Problem Works only if mods are installed on the same drive as the game. Solution Please go to Settings->Mods and set the mod staging folder to be on the same drive as the game. (C:\) " My install of Fallout New Vegas is on D: and so is the vortex mods folder. Solution 2: "Move Deployment Experimental" Has the exact same instructions as Solution 1. Solution 3: "SYMLINK Deployment Problem Incompatible with "Fallout New Vegas". Solution Can't be solved." Solution 4 "SYMLINK Development (Run as Administrator)" Same instructions as Solution
worstcaster
I figured it out. At some point Steam stopped using my D: for the library and switched to C: without permission. The old folders were on D:, but were empty. I uninstalled C: New Vegas and reinstalled to D: where I wanted it and it started working.
