Mods can't be deployed

Hmm ok so it's not a bugged extension.

 

What options do you have under "Fix" for the deployment error message?

Under Fix:

Works only if mods are installed on the same drive as the game.

Please go to Settings->Mods and set the mod staging folder to be on the same drive as the game. (C:\) "

 

My install of Fallout New Vegas is on D: and so is the vortex mods folder.

 

Solution 2:

 

"Move Deployment Experimental"

 

Has the exact same instructions as Solution 1.

"SYMLINK Deployment

 

Problem

 

Incompatible with "Fallout New Vegas".

I figured it out. At some point Steam stopped using my D: for the library and switched to C: without permission. The old folders were on D:, but were empty. I uninstalled C: New Vegas and reinstalled to D: where I wanted it and it started working.
