F3LLA22
I have reinstalled the game twice, deactivated and reactivated my mods and every time it still goes into a pink screen. It doesn't go into the pink screen when I'm in vanilla but when my mods are activated it goes into the pink screen. I also have NVSE, NVAC, OneTweak, JIP, JohnnyGuitar and ENB Series. I didnt install new mods it just went into the pink screen suddenly and it will not go away. Does anyone have a fix? dubiousintent
Start by disabling ENB (rename the D3D9.DLL file in the game folder) until you have gotten by this problem. It's a "post processor" and affects things after the game engine has rendered the image. You don't need the complication, and turning it off will pin-point if it is causing the problem. Please see the 'Common Game Problems' section of the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article. * Don't install every optional file for a mod. Read the install instructions carefully. Optional files need to be selected on a "case by case" basis. For example: with any mod you usually only need one ESP (and possibly one ESM) "base" file depending upon whether you have all the DLCs active or not. Only if you don't have them all active do you need to install any specific DLC versions if there is an "Ultimate Edition/All/Merged DLC" version. In particular:* FO4PowerArmorReplacersWithDLC.esp* FO4PowerArmorReplacersNoDLC.espare working against each other. "Rule of One" means only the last to load (physically lower in the list) is in effect. If the problem persists, then see either the 'Solutions to Starting the game problems' or the 'Solutions to "Crash To Desktop" (CTD) problems' sections in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide. If that isn't sufficient, then you need to engage in 'Mod Conflict Isolation' as laid out in that same wiki article to isolate your problem plugin. I recommend anyone read the entire "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article to understand the differences between this game and others you may have experience with; especially if this is your first attempt to play a modded FNV or it's been more than a year since you last did so. It is designed for someone who has never played a modded PC game before, so it tries to avoid making any assumptions.-Dubious-
JimmyRJump
Rename your ini file (the main one in Documents/My Games/FalloutNV) and let the game recreate a new ini file at start-up. You'll also get the chance to re-add your preferences in the game's pop-up for hardware settings. The pink screen is often the result of mods having been badly uninstalled and leaving entries in the ini file.
AusAllerWelt
Pink indicates that you are missing a texture, so one of your mods did not install correctly or is broken. Also, why are you using FCO and NVR3 at the same time? Use one or the other. New Vegas Redesigned only needs meshes and textures from FCO and it specifically states that the .esms/.esps of FCO should not be used at the same time. JimmyRJump
Pink indicates that you are missing a texture...()...True. But F3lla22 speaks of a pink SCREEN, not some random splotches of missing textures.
AusAllerWelt
Yeah but the screens that appear when starting up the game are also textures and they will be pink if the texture cannot be found.
