Ject67 Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 Hey guys, when I install a mod into the game, and start the game up and go to data file, I check those boxes to load those games up and click ok. When I go back to the data files option, everything besides fallout3.esm is unchecked. I've gone to mydocuments/mygames/fallout3/ and changed bInvalidateOlderFiles and changed it from a 0 to a 1 What else do I have to do to get these mods working?

From what I've read this is just a launcher problem, the esp's are activated they just don't show up as such.
Guest Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 I've the same problem.Every time I look in the launcher - all esp files are unchecked.Ingame is still no changing too. The Mod's are all inactive. Can someone help me out?
Ject67 Posted November 14, 2008 Author Posted November 14, 2008 Heh, didn't see that other thread. Well for me, all esp's remain unchecked everytime I have a look, but they still work ingame though.
noobax Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 use the fallout 3 mod manager can be found on the fallout3nexus.com

You might try adding a "plugins.txt" file to "\My Documents\My Games\Fallout3" directory. one way to get this file, is to go to where ever you have Fallout 3 loaded, go into the data directory, open a command prompt in that directory, and in the command prompt window, type this: dir *.esp /b >plugins.txt what this does: dir *.esp lists all files with the extension of .esp (doesnt matter what the name is, as long as the extension is .esp) the /B Uses bare format (no heading information or summary). and the >plugins.txt puts the text that would have been output on the screen into the file "plugins.txt"then move that file into the "\My Documents\My Games\Fallout3" directory.
