geekminxen
I'm trying to lift some audio from video clips and was told Audacity would do it, but all I get is a message saying it has to be converted to a wav or aiff. Any thoughts, any help is much appreciated.
ghosu
Use an audio converter toll to convert the video file to .wav , afterwards you can edit it in Audacity.

AlexanderJVelicky
You can also just tell Audacity to record your audio output, then play the video clip while recording. Just make sure that your computer outputs no other noise (Skype sounds, Steam chat, etc), and you'll have the audio.
