xhayatox
These are my current PC specs. Will my PC be capable of running Skyrim, if at all? If not, can somebody please tell me what I need to purchase in order to be able to run Skyrim? Should I buy a new graphics card? Or something? How does this work? I'm not tech-savy at all, so unfortunately I am totally misguided when it comes to stuff like this. I would really appreciate some assistance. Thank you. http://i.imgur.com/kvgfU.jpg Edited November 3, 2012 by xhayatox
Georgiegril
There is a pinned thread on this forum that answers this. You could also try inputing your data on this site. (SystemRequirementsLab)

(SystemRequirementsLab) I ran the test and here is what it said. So I'm guessing I would need to purchase a better graphics card, huh?http://i.imgur.com/nvGeH.jpg Edited November 3, 2012 by xhayatox

Gremxula
Buying almost any graphic card would boost your system.I have an ATI 4650 512 ddr2 and that dose a reasonable job at 1680x1050 with AA off.Your game could look a lot better than mine with the card linked above. But Then it could be worse on a very high res monitor.Your existing chipset could possibly with some tweaks run Skyrim as it stands but at very low quality and or FPS. Unf0reseen87
You can play Skryim just fine with those specs. Go here http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/18350 and follow the directions step by step. Only use the INI files if Skyrim is still running slow after testing.
