missionmoench2
Okay, here's the situation. I have spent a lot of time learning how to mod, and I think I'm getting the gist of it, however, my knowledge ends at Wrye Bash. I have Never used Wrye Bash before, I installed all my mods using OBMM and BOSS. I am fairly confident I installed all of my mods correctly, but I am seeing the dreaded yellow exclamation point in association with some quest mods. Is it possible this could be because I need a bashed patch? If so, is there a way to make one without switching all my mods from OBMM to Wrye? HadToRegister
You can load up Wrye Bash to make a Bashed Patch, and close it after it's done.OR, you can use WryeBash to install and manage your mods. It's versatileI often use both, because some mods are packaged for WryeBash, in BAIN installer packages, while mods for OBMM are packaged as OMODs.So, depending on what you want to install, a combination of both might be necessary anyway
DrakeTheDragon
And no, a bashed patch should not be able to fix your missing mesh error at all. You should check the installation of your mods. Perhaps one wasn't structured in a way OBMM could use right away. Or you missed installing a requirement or two for another one. The yellow exclamation mark means the NIF file isn't where the game record expects it to be. It's physically missing a file.
