Skyrim CTD on startup after update

The title pretty much sums it up. I'm getting a CTD instantly after the Bethesda splash screen. I'm running quite a few mods, however I think it must be something wrong with SKSE?

 

Anyone else getting this?

 

EDIT: When I take off all my mods it works fine. Any of you guys know some mods that may interfere with the new update?

Have you read all the threads about 1.8? You might have saved yourself the wait.

 

Yes, a number of mods appear to have compatibility problems with 1.8.

Skse has been updated, if you don't have the updated version, you will want to get it.

Mods that are incompatible are unable to be fixed at the moment by the mod authors, because Bethesda has not yet updated the Creation Kit. It is hoped that will happen soon.

Until then, removing incompatible mods and playing without them is really the only option, or just sitting on your hands and waiting. :confused:

I had the same problem....

For my Load Out the problem mod was "Empowered Magic"

You will just have to go through your mods and disable one at a time to find the "bad" one... then go tell the mod author so it can get updated.

if possiable revert to 1.7 and wait until 1.8 gets ironed out. If you guys need help with reverting shoot me an email and i can send you my backup copy.
