Mcdoye
My game is heavily modded. and when i mean heavily modded i mean seriously heavily modded. i use Dust survival simulator, nuclear winter, frozen world. and many dozens of other mods. plus my own personal mods i created for only myself to use. my load order is 200+.. i have a snow mod that i need someone with a mostly vanilla game to test for me. it is supposed to constant snow in jacobstown and the snowy area surrounding. and added snow to the list of weather chances across the mojave.. all of this done with vanilla resources found in the fallout.meshes BSA. it wont require any dlc or scripts. if you are interested send me a pm or leave a comment. dubiousintent
Suggestion: If you are using a mod manager that works from the concept of an empty data folder and profiles, like Mod Organizer or Vortex (and NMM as well I believe but never used myself), and you have sufficient free disk space, just create a new profile for a minimal mod list just for testing and development. Such a manager only needs one set of "installed" mods, and creates links to the files used by each profile, so it doesn't need as much disk space as older managers like FOMM or Wrye Flash that have to keep complete separate copies of the entire data folder. -Dubious-
Mcdoye
i have a mod manager that does that but if i disable my current mods it gets buggy setting it back up again.
WarMachineDD7
That's why you would create a new profile though, so you don't modify your current set up at all.
Mcdoye
i have created new profiles before and switched between them often while working on mods. however my game is so heavily modded now when i deactivate and reactivate profile 1 my game bugs out very bad and some mods wont load up
Mktavish
Sounds like the profile option aint workin out so good ?/ So all you need is check your weather mod for expected render ?
Mcdoye
problem is my mod adds vanilla snow to jacobstown and vanilla snow weather. snow effects from fallout 3s anchorage dlc found in FalloutNV.meshes.BSA. i have a custom mod that i made and rigged with nevada skies and dozens of other mods.. which also adds snow from nevada skies. for some reason when i disable the mod it malfunctions very bad when i reactivate. to the point i have to replace some of mods from backup to be able to continue playing the game. Mcdoye
everything on my game is pretty much heavily modded.. i removed almost everything in the wasteland and changed the entire land... there is no jacobstown. the lucky 38. most everything is gone or replaced with something else. 9 years of the same wasteland got old. too old.
