anjenthedog
As we walk west from Whiterun, we eventually come to an area where one road leads us south and eventually East to Falkreath, and a short ways away, another that leads to Markarth. And If we follow the "natural" lay of the road, we turn towards the northwest on a path that will lead us to Roristead and beyond, towards Solitude. So to the right, near this junction of roads, there's a dragon mound and a dwemer puzzle I'm curious, can this trap door be opened, or is it just for show? I tried (I think I tried) every combination but could never get it to open. Is there a radiant quest involved? Am I just being dumb? Not a pressing question by any means, but one I've meant to ask for a while.
IsharaMeradin
I don't recall a dwemer puzzle at that location in the base game. I know there is a pillar puzzle before reaching the dragon mound on the same side of the road. But I wouldn't call it close to the dragon mound at all. A screenshot might jog some of our memories. anjenthedog
"A pillar puzzle" is a good enough name for me. I associated those with the Dwemer (Maybe mistakenly). That's the one. It's not kissing the mound, but it's closer than pretty much anything else. In any case, whether my description is exact or not, the puzzle with a trap-style gate, three pillars, and not enough hard info to "know" the combination So, is that puzzle solvable? Brandy1123
it is solvable. the information is there. i think one of the pillars is crumbled and the animal key is on the backs of each pillar.I'll load it up and go look Western Pillar : Whale - on back of pillar, Northern Pillar : Eagle - on ground behind pillar, Eastern Pillar : Snake - half buried on ground behind pillar Edited December 25, 2019 by Brandy1123
