Welcome, WhenLitningStrikes!! The problem with loading a bunch of mods at one time is that if you run into troubles it becomes harder to track down the culprit. The best tactic is to load a couple of mods and then play the game a little bit to make sure the mods play well together. Then add a couple more and do the same. If you eventually suffer anomalies will will know that it's one of the two that you just loaded. Ten you just need to fix the conflict and you are 'good to go' once again.

As for the community it's the usual collection of saints and sinners. But the site owner, Robin Scott, keeps a tight rein on things making sure that we all play well together and enjoy our stay here. You will find this a nice place to waste your time with and maybe learn the tricks for making your own mods in the process. The main theme here is just to have fun!!

So, again a welcome from the Rabbit!!

Eager, I see. In a bit of a rush to get things done so you can join in the fun.

As to your portrait, you're likely missing the obvious when trying to upload a picture. That is the size.

Size matters and if your picture doesn't set up you may have overlooked the little notes that suggest what number of pixels to make it so it will fit in the space.

Usually we need to make it smaller in size. Adjust the size of your Avatar portrait to fit in, using Paint or some picture modifying tool. Paint will do the job if you have one of Microsoft's OS's, Windows 7, 8, 8.1, or 10, installed. Just reduce it's number of pixels, (known as resolution settings otherwise) to the size convenient for yours to appear.

If you wish to learn more about reducing the pictures size controls the tools you use have help instructions for all tasks they can do.
