wangyifan2008 Posted November 8, 2012 Share Posted November 8, 2012 (edited) Playing skyrim on PC with a new character, complete Quest:Alduin's Bane.Never traveled to dawnstar before.(received the letter from forkreath jarl),did NOT purchase any other house at any hold or city. Than I traveled to dawnstar,finished the quest： Quest:Waking Nightmare find the"Ring of Pure Mixtures",and brought to Frida bring the book to the blackSmith Leigelf When I get this all done, the jarl skald just says thanks for solving this nightmare, I didn't see any Dialogue options to buy a land or to be a thane！ I just installed two MODs maybe changed scripts about Quest and NPC`s dialogues(UFO , Live Another Life) installed ESM\ESPs:update.esm (my skyrim verson is 1.8skyrim.esm :( hearthfires.esmAlternate Start - Live Another Life.esp http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/9557UFO - Ultimate Follower Overhaul.esp http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/14037Isilmerie.esp http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=5727 Is anyone has problem just like this,do you have any solutions may fix my problem,or I did something wrong about installing MOD？I appreciate your reply. :) Edited November 8, 2012 by wangyifan2008 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Merc616 Posted November 9, 2012 Share Posted November 9, 2012 Your character has to be at level 22 or higher for the Jarl to ask a favor of you which leads to becoming thane. Ah, I didn`t notice my character is at level 13, I`ll let my dragonborn to be level 22 or higher,and retry it.
