Frogboy1967
Ok they've done a war between vampires and vampire hunters, theyve let us build a home and start a family and now they are having us face the first dovahkin so what they should do in my opinion is let you create a custom guild and choose your base of operations and have your guild fighting a common foe i dont know if you feel the same way but in my opinion that would be awesome please post your own ideas id love to see what my fellow skyrim players think but i cant do anything about making these dreams a reality but i do think you should post your thoughts about this
justwannaddl
If they put in a mountain/tree climbing DLC, I'd be quite happy.

formalrevya
Now this may have already been discussed at some point in the past, so sorry if this is something that everyone already agrees upon. I've been playing a lot of games of Skyrim lately where I RP'd a character who wasn't a dragonborn. I never did the main quest to start dragon spawning, and I went out of my way to avoid Learning any words of power. and I finally figured out the spawn conditions for the dark brotherhood assassins and the Thalmor death squads that attack the PC. Basically, until You've either learned a word of power or absorbed a dragon soul, you're never on their list of undesirables. Which is a pretty nifty thing for Bethesda to have done, though most people will probably not pay it a lick of attention. If you pay attention to the lore, you're aware that the Mer have a very big hate fest going on for mankind, to the extent that they genuinely want to see them wiped out of existence, or at the very least completely subjugated. And they've made plenty of serious attempts at doing so, some of which were more successful than others. But every single time they start to really put a hurt on mankind. The Aedra usually jump in, and give mankind a champion. Personally it seems that the Aedra dote more on man because the mer races tend to worship the Daedra more so than other races. Now if we assume that every one of Mankind's champions has been of dragon blood. ((and evidence strongly suggests that to be the case)) then it's quite obvious why the Aldmeri dominion would want the dragonborn dead.Because if he is another one of Man's champions then he's pretty much the only person who can put a stop to their latest plans. So with that in mind, I would be very very surprised if there wasn't a DLC that involved Fighting the Aldmeri dominion at some point in the future. The summerset isles are a location that hasn't been visited in the past few games. And they do kind of have to address this issue because of the civil war. If they don't tackle the Aldmeri encroachment, then the civil war will have to result in another dragon break to rectify the two separate paths that story line can take. If you side with the imperials, Killing Ulfric is not the end of continued hostilities between Skyrim and the Empire. Nobody was fighting in that war just because they liked Ulfric, He had a way of compelling a crowd, but they already agreed with his ideals otherwise they wouldn't have bothered. all it would take to T things off again would be another talented Leader with good Oratory skills. And if you side with the Stormcloaks, then that's also not the end of things. The only thing stopping the Aldmeri Dominion from continuing to steamroll the Empire was the fact that they had just enough numbers to make the battle a long and drawn out affair. Not because they couldn't win the fight, but because they would have lost a lot of military might in the process. With Skyrim no longer being a part of the empire, the Aldmeri have a much easier target to take, One that gives them a base of operations for future conflicts that is right across the border from their next target. The only way these two sides are going to reconcile is if the source of their tensions between one another are out of the way. The only way to get those tensions out of the way is to weaken the dominion enough that they can no longer afford an expansionist policy. And while having large numbers on their side would be one way of making the Dominion flee, the fact is they can't really afford to wait for their populations to replenish after so many years of non stop war. The DragonBorn is the only character alive in the lore at this point in time who has the might to Even the odds enough in favor of the races of men in another War. Great post  I'm thinking you gain the true fealty of the Dovah when you save them from the badass dragonborn priest in the upcoming expansion!!!!111!!Then you fly into Thalmor home territory with your dragon riding mage army!! Thats my nerd-out for today. All joking aside, I think the dragon allies thing has to be going somewhere. You can have at least four dragon pals on your side if you count the one in the trailer for the DLC.
Scorch621
Yeah thats interesting, If either the Stormcloaks or the Empire had a dragon rider/Riders on their side you'd think the Aldmeri Dominion would kinda be crapping their pants at that point...Not to mention Odahviing perhaps convincing a few other dragons to ally with the Dragonborn... Plus, the Summerset Isles are about the same size as the Isles, so for a last expansion it would be pretty awesome, really give some insight as to Elven ways of living. I would definately like to see some sort of resolution to the Civil War, without having to beat it with the Dragon Break schtick. Admitedly, considering the circumstances of the period, a Dragon Break is appropriate, but still... They shouldn't have to pull one out every time they release a game just because they want to give people an illusion of choice. The Domminion, on the other hand, is not something i think its appropriate for DLC. It is a far more involved and interesting story than DLC would be able to deal with, and deserves its own game. Imagine a campaign, set over a whole game and it's DLC's, where the Empire invades the Domminion, sending you through the twin provinces of Elswyr, Valenwood and finally assaulting Alinor its self (in the final DLC). Thats the type of stuff belonging in TES6, not as an asside-DLC for Skyrim.
