anjenthedog
AV packages quite often cause trouble with internet utilities. Steam operates on the net. It's possible that your AV software interfered with Steam.
Beazle12
Download and install skse64 2.0.17 from silverlock.org, then download and install SkyUI 5.2 SE from nexus. Launch game from skse64_loader.exe. If you do not care why ask? I'm having this problem as well. I have the correct version of SKSE 64 installed in the correct folder, and when I try to launch the game from the SKSE 64 it opens up the console for 0.1 seconds and then closes, without launching anything. If i launch the game via vortex then the game loads but fails to load any of my mods. Any advice? Gotta check the plugins to make sure the mods you're using are compatible with your version of skyrim.
