Sillius
I'm thinking of something like the Templars in Hellgate, maybe. Not some kind of power-bikini (though I sinkingly know someone will do that eventually), but something more form-fitting for the ladies. Ideally available in regular and blacker, slinkier (and less powerful) powered recon armor as well.
MrCyberpunk
Fallout 3 is already too hellgate London as it is. I don't like this idea.If you want feminine armor try the Enclave Power Armor, it looks less brick like than the BOS kind. Realistically if you really wanted a good looking women then going all out with STR and Power Amor is not the way to do it.. your character would be very butch (see the female BOS soldiers.) I don't think Female BOS soldiers would like to look sexy IMO because they whole point of power armor is the scare the poo out of everyone.. not give them an erection. For that you may try the Merc Charmer or Sexy Sleepware :D
Angelsilhouette
It's obviously not about giving the enemy erections, as stated by her not wanting power bikinis and her sinking feeling that someone will do it anyway. Some people would like to feel feminine, just as others would like to feel masculine. Currently there is a wealth of armour and weapon options to make a player feel masculine in this game, but not really that many to make a player feel feminine. I personally like this idea, as both the brotherhood and outcast armours feel a bit knock kneed to me, as if wearing it is just a big more difficult than anyone is letting on and the wearers are allowing their knees to buckle a bit and rest against each other when standing idle. MrCyberpunk
makes no sense to do it for power armor though. Regular Armor fine, power armor no. It doesn't fit with the Canon. Now female specific armor would be epic. I hate how armor/clothing immediately changes to the character's sex, unlike in Morrowind where if you tried wearing female clothes as a male you'd look like a freak... not that its a bad thing I mean could you imagine being chased around the wastelands by a transvestite :D. I'll agree to more female specific armor.. but not Power Armor. Power Armor is for meatheads.. even the BOS Monks state that.
Angelsilhouette
I must disagree, feminising power armour is not an unreasonable request, though protesting against it does feel a bit like chauvinism. Power Armour has been feminised many times in the past by many great artists, and it quite often looks functional as well as feminine. And the Sisters of battle are a good example imho for an armored female form that's still female in look.
MrCyberpunk
k.. but heads up NMA might oppose it. Its not a very fallout aesthetic so it does have potential to break canon. Hence my opposition to it.
Khet
The way I see it, what does it matter if someone wants to 'break the canon' of their game just to make it more appealing to them? It's not like mods that other people download affect your game. That's the GREAT thing about mods. Once we get a CS and a couple months pass then you'll be able to customize your game to your EXACT tastes, just like with Oblivion. So, if they want feminine power armor, I say go for it. Hence my opposition to it. NMA might oppose a lot of things, who cares? Besides NMA guys, who wouldn't download the mod anyway. I say go for it, sleeker Power Armor would be nice to have anyway, even from a tactical perspective (easier movement = less dead soldiers). Even if it loses some of the "imposing image" factor, it makes up for it in destructive force.
jaysus
its just logical that there are female armor versions lol... even in history you have a few examples of female armor just take the physical differences... men need more room in the crotch and gals on the chest... sounds logical once you entered puberty...
