Even my character and random npcs in the game have the issue

That neck line very annoying for me when im playing i just wanna know if that's normal in the official game or i'm the one who did that mess

I used xenius character enhancement mod , detailed bodies mod , apachi hair style mod , realistic lighting mod in that save game then after i installed fresh game without any mods i found the same problem if someone have any idea about fixing this problem please tell me .. and sorry for my poor language

Grey face bug should not be affecting player character tho. Double check your data folder and make sure you do not have any head texture files or head mesh files that you are not supposed to have according to any mods that you are using. Another thing that you can check is if you are using a face mod and it changes where the texture set(s) in the Creation Kit point to you could (if there is a loose head mesh file) change the texture assignments directly.

There is a bug where the _s & _sk maps on the texture set are not actually used and causes the nif file to use what has been assigned. If those are different than what was intended there will be a slight discoloration and seam appear.

I deleted the whole game folder , the skyrim.ini / skyrimprefs.ini and all files related to the game then i reinstalled fresh folder without even the dawnguard patch and the problem still there ... specially with female characters

I did the same, deleted everything in the Skyrim Folder before uninstalling, save games, inis, after installing I had 0 mods running, still the grey face.

I checked the net and saw thet after Beth released an Fallout 3 update the NPC got diffrent colored faces too, the way they fixed it was by editing something in the Fallout 3 Ini, anyway, maybe the new Skyrim update caused this, I mean some ppl got problems with map markers and other stuff and some may have this as a problem.

First thing I did after the 1.8 patch was make sure that my body & face texture mods worked properly. Since I use my own Unique Races mod and it changes where things are assigned that may be why I haven't noticed anything on my end. Tho that was how I discovered the issue with the _s & _sk files on the head texture sets. My males tho are using stock textures just in new assigned locations and still not seeing anything discolored like that. Tho closest I came was in testing the Angelina follower mod for the author. Her face in shadows seemed a bit off, but it cleared up in the light. Wouldn't put it past Bethesda to screw with the lighting some.

It is also possible that during the update some of your customized INI settings were reset. Might be worth a look to double check those too.

Beyond that... I'm clueless. For your mod added NPCs double check that they have face gen data files. For player character, if you are running stock and have nothing in the data folder then I've no clue.

Well i tried some mods which relieved the problem somehow ( Calieneted Female Body , Geonox faces for men , cover women , high quality eyes by xenius , Detailed bodies for men , xVision Children v2.1 ) all these mods seems to match together for me try those and tell me if they match with you

Notice : Detailed body mod have male and female textures in the folder so install Detailed Body mod first then Caliented Female Body to replace female textures
