SnowFox35
Check your downloads for a folder called "Gen2". From previewing the file contents, it tells you exactly what the thing you're downloading is called.
StormWolf01
Heyas Kafrem!Ok so first off, I wanna go ahead and let you know, that's actually Not a mod. It's what's referred to as a modder's resource. Which means, part of the files are there, but it hasn't been made into a fully functioning mod.And in the case of that one, the way that it's set up, it's going to make that happen to anything that uses the human male/female body. Not just the character, so you know. Because so many of the humans in the game share the same body as the character. That said, texture files go here-\Fallout 4\Data\Textures\actors\characterThere should be two folders inside that, it's going to be BaseHumanFemale and BaseHumanMale If those folders aren't there, you will need to make them. You will need to put the female texture files in the female folder, and the male texture files in the male texture folder. So, like I said, that's actually not a mod. I say that, so that you don't have the expectations that it acts like a mod should. And not to think ill of the author, as they've specifically said, that it's a resource. If you're looking for skins that will make characters have a synth skin, there are overlays available, that you can apply through LooksMenu, that will allow you to do so, without making changes to all the humans. StormWolf01
Hey again. Yeah, sorry for the disappointment to you there :sad:Here's a couple that I was talking about. Both of these you add, like tattoos, through looksmenu.https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/35269 This one, IMO is the better onehttps://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/30707 this one is kinda sexy, but not modeled after the vanilla synths.[edit] These two mods are actually interconnected. It appears that the mod in the 2nd link is REQUIRED by the mod in the first link. Install the 2nd link first, then install the 1st link to over-write the files to make it work. I am SO sorry for not noticing that before! [/edit] keep in mind that once applied, if you don't like the bleech white, you can change your body hue with looksmenu also  https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/27755 vampire-esque synth? https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9372 not really my taste, but it came up in the search this one is just face paints and replaces vanilla ones. tattoos. pretty cool looking actually! https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9064 (I miiiiight try this one out!)This one is an armor that makes you look like a synth. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/28394 some other synth and robot -esque armors https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/41003 eyes https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/8056 this is the mod I use. its pretty good, but also kinda spooky in the dark https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/25489 this one is good too, if ya don't wanna go pure vanilla-ish https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/6763 I've also got this one, but the scelera (colored area of the eye) looks a bit too big. hope this helps  Edited January 8, 2020 by StormWolf01
StormWolf01
Actually, I really like the look of what I'm seeing in teh files you'd posted a link to.I went ahead and put in a request in the request forums, to see if anybody would like to take that up as a project to complete it.https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/8298493-synth-skin-mod-completion-request/
