Your rendition of winterhold looks stellar, man.

I'm not quite sure about what "stellar" exactly means as an adjective (sorry i'm french hehe), I take it you mean it doesn't look like a place that could exist on earth, well if that's what comes from it, thank you, as the main goal was to make it look like a place in a sort of valley surrounded with magic :) .

Le mot "stellar" se traduit en francais par le mot "merveilleux". :)

Thank you! I have to say that I'm really impressed by the new architecture you've created, and am very intrigued by your "new world" project. I particularly like two things about your work:

1) The textures. Man, are they ever beautiful.

2) The way you've brought back curves. Until I saw your work, I hadn't noticed how all the architecture in Skyrim is so "boxy" and full of straight lines. Your buildings are full of sloping edges that really draw the eye across their surfaces.

Great work! I'm looking forwards to visiting these locations in-game!

Thanks guys, here's an a quick overview of the castle I started the other day, it will be the first castle avaible in Milsenval, it's named Chestyn, it's not over yet though.

As I said, I want to bring Mount & Blade aspects of gameplay to this mod I am making, the next step of the castle design will be adding interiors to the towers meshes so that the castle is perfectly siegable and defendable from the inside of the towers.

I will post a new thread for this specific project later which will be detailing the new featuring lore and the kind of modders I am looking for on this project :)

For when you get back to your towns/cities project:

Perhaps a questline to rebuild Winterhold after you become Arch-Mage? That would be amazing. It shouldn't be impossible if it worked by disabling/enabling objects like the Build Your Own House mod, and it would be lore-friendly and make sense (why didn't the mages of Winterhold help reconstruct the city? It would have stopped the distrust of them all by the population.) Part of the questline could involve placing magical wards and strength enchantments on the surrounding land to stop some idiot apprentice blasting Winterhold into the Sea of Ghosts again. Also, could the mod be modular - I.e. separate files for "Improved

Whiterun" "Rebuilt Winterhold" "Improved Dawnstar" etc.? It would massively cut down on mod conflicts.

Very much looking forward to rebuilding Winterhold and your current Milsenval project.

I like the idea about Winterhold, and don't worry about the compabilities, I think there won't be any problems aslong as you don't use Open Cities or anything that modifies the towns in a drastic way, and it will be modular. About Milsenval well it's currently my main focus these days and it will soon have its own thread detailing its lore and setting. Thanks for the support :)
